STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The word “automated,’' at its core, means anything that makes something happen without human interference. Today, even the most mundane household chores can be automated, from making coffee to writing a grocery list.

Recently, IoT Secure compiled a list of some of the most tedious household tasks that can now be automated, as reported by Stacker.com. They’re great for those of us who don’t mind getting a little help here and there.
